I’m in Nashville, TN right now for a girls weekend. We drove down last night and made it to our hotel at about 2 AM. It’s a little early now, but I’m so excited to head out for the day that I couldn’t sleep any longer.
Another reason I woke up is because while laying in my bed and trying to fall back asleep, I started thinking about my food blog. A dear friend of mine advised me that I should focus a little more on my “Pennies on a Platter” theme, and offer up more ideas for saving money when it comes to all things food. I agreed with her right away and have been trying to think of the best way to do that, while not getting away from my favorite part of having this blog — posting more inexpensive (not technically gourmet) recipes.
Here’s my idea, and I think I’m going to have fun with it. As I come across ideas for saving money, whether it is a coupon idea or how to save a few bucks at a restaurant and so on, I’m going to make a note of it on a list. Every once in a while I’m going to publish what I’ll title a “Penny Pincher” post. These postings will include one money saving tip from my list.
Then, in future postings, I may call the Penny Pincher by the acronym “PP” instead. So, do not confuse it with “previous post”.
Well, we are now heading off to have some yummy breakfast at Chick-Fil-A! Oooh…how I wish Chicago had this fast food delight!

what a great idea! looking forward to reading your tips
Hey Chic-Fil-A has the same policy as BBB about coupons. They accept expired ones too!
