Another recipe from our BYOP bash last Saturday. I was visiting my family in Michigan all weekend, otherwise this would’ve been posted a little earlier. And, I’m too unorganized to set up auto posts for while I’m away. In the future I’ll work on that…
This dip is very fresh tasting. It may seem there is a lot to chop up, but really it’s not that bad. Especially since you throw it all in a bowl and mix it together…easy peasy!
Garden Garbage Dip (adapted from Pillsbury Halloween Magazine, October 2005)
Ingredients:
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup finely chopped radishes (about 2 medium)
1/4 cup finely chopped green onions (4 medium)
1/4 cup finely chopped cucumber, drained
1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dried dill weed (I eliminated because I didn’t have on hand)
Dash pepper
10 cups assorted cut-up fresh veggies for dipping
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Spoon into 1-quart serving bowl.
