I’ve been gone for a few days, visiting my sister in Colorado where I have very little time to blog. I’ll be back very soon, though, with some delicious recipes! In the meantime, here is a photo of a sinfully decadent dessert I had the first night I arrived in Denver…at a restaurant called Casa Bonitas. Can you guess what this is? I’ll give you a hint…it’s hard to spell!

Looks like sopapillas to me! We used to go to Casa Bonita when we visited Denver also…hope you got to see the divers!! (if they still have them?)

I have been reading your blog for awhile (hi!), but had to delurk myself to join in the fact that I love the Casa Bonita sopapillas too!
Have fun in Colorado, I was raised there…and would love to take my husband back JUST to try Casa Bonita

Oh, I love Denver. It’s such a great city. Red Rocks and driving up to Lake Dillion are my favorites. Have fun!
