Mighty Fine Burgers

If you personally know me and Ben, you already know that we are burger joint freaks.  We love a good burger, and we especially love when a fast food restaurant serves it up well.

There are a few requirements on our list in order for us to declare a burger joint one of our faves:

-All-natural, freshly ground meat.
-Fresh cut fries.
-Reasonable prices.
-Fun atmosphere.
-Friendly employees.
-They must serve milkshakes.

Mighty Fine Burgers

Mighty Fine Burgers has all of the above.   We visited this fast food local Austin burger chain in June while we were in Texas and now wish we had one near us.  Immediately after walking in the door of the Arborwalk location, we knew we were going to love it.  The atmosphere was bright and cheery, with a lot of room and large picnic table style seating.  The employees greeted us with enthusiastic smiles and cheerfully helped us work our way through the menu.

Speaking of...make sure you ask for their secret "locals" menu!

We each ordered a cheeseburger with fries and a shake.  I got the Lemonade Shake from the locals menu and Ben had strawberry.  Both were fantastic.

The burgers were juicy and flavorful.  The fries: perfection.  We loved every single bite of our fresh meal and can't wait to return some day!

Thank you, Mighty Fine Burgers for a MIGHTY FINE experience!

We visited our daughter, a new graduate and newly employed nurse, in Austin in late June. One day after dropping her off at work we visited an IKEA, and then found the Mighty Fine restaurant. The food was so good, and we were tickled because she and her husband had been so good to take us around wonderful Austin and its food scene, but we found this on our own! Not bad for a couple of empty nesters from Maine!!
