Flour.Sugar.Eggs. [Nashville, TN]

If you find yourself in the Historic Germantown neighborhood of Nashville, TN, you must start your day off right with a coffee and pastry from Flour.Sugar.Eggs.  Are you there later in the day? Then grab a fresh sandwich for lunch or a bite for dinner.  Happy bellies, big smiles, all around.
Flour.Sugar.Eggs - Bakery and Sandwich Shoppe in Nashville, TNOne time when we were “stranded” in Nashville from a broken down vehicle, we borrowed our friends’ car and ventured out to Germantown to see what was new since I lived in the area.  We were driving back from Michigan to Mississippi when the car broke down.  Luckily, my best friend lives in Nashville so we stayed with her family an extra three days, and found a lot of great new eats!

Flour.Sugar.Eggs - Bakery and Sandwich Shoppe in Nashville, TNFlour.Sugar.Eggs. was one of our fabulous finds!  We started our morning adventure at this small locally owned bakery, which turns out had first opened just about a month before we discovered it.  At that time, the seating area was tiny, but they have since expanded to a full dining room, perfect for those rainy days when you just want to sip your coffee and read or study.

Flour.Sugar.Eggs - Bakery and Sandwich Shoppe in Nashville, TNThat morning, I ordered the Chocolate Croissant with an Orange Mocha drink.  The croissant brought me back to our days in Italy when I made it my mission to find a chocolate croissant every morning.  Light, buttery and flaky, this bakery did it right.

Flour.Sugar.Eggs - Bakery and Sandwich Shoppe in Nashville, TNWe also ordered a chocolate chip cookie and Blueberry Lemon Scone…

Flour.Sugar.Eggs - Bakery and Sandwich Shoppe in Nashville, TNAll of their food is made with the freshest ingredients and baked daily, so you’re never in risk of eating stale, dry, old food.  At Flour.Sugar.Eggs. you will find only the best.

While on vacation we were just deciding where we would like to go next. Nashville came up so this would be an awesome bakery if we decide to go there.

That looks like a great place to eat. I would love to live down the street from it so that I could just walk down and grab breakfast. Every. Morning.
