I'm in Nashville, TN right now for a girls weekend. We drove down last night and made it to our hotel at about 2 AM. It's a little early now, but I'm so excited to head out for the day that I couldn't sleep any longer.
Another reason I woke up is because while laying in my bed and trying to fall back asleep, I started thinking about my food blog. A dear friend of mine advised me that I should focus a little more on my "Pennies on a Platter" theme, and offer up more ideas for saving money when it comes to all things food. I agreed with her right away and have been trying to think of the best way to do that, while not getting away from my favorite part of having this blog -- posting more inexpensive (not technically gourmet) recipes.
Here's my idea, and I think I'm going to have fun with it. As I come across ideas for saving money, whether it is a coupon idea or how to save a few bucks at a restaurant and so on, I'm going to make a note of it on a list. Every once in a while I'm going to publish what I'll title a "Penny Pincher" post. These postings will include one money saving tip from my list.
Then, in future postings, I may call the Penny Pincher by the acronym "PP" instead. So, do not confuse it with "previous post". 🙂
Well, we are now heading off to have some yummy breakfast at Chick-Fil-A! Oooh...how I wish Chicago had this fast food delight!

Hey Chic-Fil-A has the same policy as BBB about coupons. They accept expired ones too!
