HOT DOG BUNS

These buns are soft and tender (yes, just the way you like them!), with the perfect amount of fluff.

Ingredients:

– olive oil , for coating – 3-4 cups flour – 1 tablespoon sugar – 1 teaspoon salt – 2 teaspoons instant yeast – ¼ cup warm water – 1 cup warm milk – 1 tablespoon vegetable oil – 1 egg , beaten with 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash) – sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional)

GENERAL STEPS

Add the ingredients to your stand mixer to form the dough. Let the dough rise for 45-60 minutes. Shape the dough into cylinders then cover with a kitchen towel and let rise until almost doubled, about 45 minutes.
