This 7 layer dip is a quick and easy party appetizer loaded with flavor. It's the best Mexican dip with 7 layers of delicious ingredients. Serve with tortilla chips or scoops!
1 ½cupsfinely shredded Mexican-blend cheese(or use your favorite)
1cupblack beans from a can, rinsed and drained
Handful of fresh cilantro, rinsed, dried and chopped
Instructions
First, spread refried beans evenly into bottom of deep serving dish (about 10 to 11 inch in size).
Next, spoon guacamole over top the refried beans and evenly spread.
Then, spread sour cream evenly over the guacamole, followed by an even layer of salsa.
Last, sprinkle cheese evenly over the salsa and top with beans and cilantro.
Finally, cover with plastic wrap and let chill 1 hour before serving. Serve with corn chips.
Notes
You can layer the ingredients in any order you want, but I have found its best to always start with the refried beans since they are the thickest and most difficult to spread.
If there is a layer ingredients you don't necessarily like, substitute it with something you do like! For example, you might not love cilantro but you really like green onions. Or, no black beans and instead use black olives. Try greek yogurt instead of sour cream, and chopped fresh tomatoes instead of salsa!
Store tightly covered in the fridge for up to 5 days.
