Red, White and Blue SkewersWere you asked to bring an appetizer to the holiday party you're attending this weekend instead of a fun, festive dessert?   Or, maybe you can bring what you want but you do not have much time to cook or bake.  These skewers are the perfect solution.  Just thread some blueberries, mozzarella cheese (cut into cubes) and grape tomatoes onto a toothpick and you're good to go.  Quick and easy, while keeping with the colorful Fourth of July theme.

There's no recipe.  I think the photo tells all.  Have a great holiday weekend and be safe!!

I slightly altered this for our church's fellowship meal, and it was so much fun to do--and so cute! I didn't like the idea of pairing blueberries with the tomatoes and cheese, so I just used blue plastic toothpicks and a blue bowl! I also used grapes for some--red grapes, of course--when I ran out of grape tomatoes! Thanks for the idea!

That is a good solution for the blueberry problem. I wish I would have thought of that because I took these to a work 4th potluck and they didn't go over well due to the combo. Might try that next time.

This is such a cute and easy appetizer. Perfect when you need to whip up something quickly for a party.

It is kabob week at Get Grillin’. Family Fresh Cooking & I would love it if you linked up this recipe & up to 2 other kabob recipes you may have (they don't have to be grilled). https://bit.ly/j9keva

Beautiful and simple...the American caprese skewer! I bet some reduced balsamic vinegar drizzled on would be delicious. Thanks for sharing!
