Want to spice up the usual chips and salsa?  Then pass up those Tostidos and head on over to the Mexican aisle to pick up some tortillas and make your own chips!  With cookie cutters, you can shape your chips into any design you like that fits your party's theme.  For our pumpkin party, I used my pumpkin and bats cookie cutters.  I didn't get a picture of the pumpkin chips.

On top of being festive, these are also extremely easy.  They were so simple that Ben didn't even realize I made these!  It wasn't until someone at the party told him.  He didn't see a 'fuss' in the kitchen for these, so he never even knew!

Bat Chips

Ingredients:

flour tortillas, burrito size (quantity is up to you)
cooking spray
salt

Directions:

Heat oven to 350. Use cookie cutter to punch out shapes in tortillas.  Place shapes on ungreased cookie sheets. Spray both sides of shapes with cooking spray and sprinkle with salt.

Bake 8 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, then let cool.  Serve with your favorite salsa.
