It's Labor Day weekend!  I know it's been a while since my last post, but I've had my head buried in textbooks.  Last month, I started full time schooling for Occupational Therapy.  It's an awesome career and I'm thoroughly excited about it, but it is A LOT of work.  I'm enrolled in 17 credit hours while keeping up with our boys and the hubs.  🙂  It's weird being back in college again and I am LOVING the opportunity to learn!  My head might be spinning everyday, but God is good and I'm taking each day step by step!

I wanted to bring up a few favorite recipes for this Labor Day weekend, along with telling you about some of my favorite warm weather Starbucks drinks.

Cinnamon Sugar Pull Apart BreadCinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread - Because you likely don't have to rush off to work Monday morning, try your hand at a more involved breakfast!  This Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart bread is so fun and your family will love to tug at each gooey piece.

Pimento Cheese SpreadPimento Cheese Spread - An appetizer done right is a great start to your Labor Day festivities. Pimento Cheese Spread is a favorite for any occasion.

Grilled Santa Fe BurgerGrilled Santa Fe Burger - Don't settle for the plain ol' burger.  Easily spruce it up by mixing in a little chips and salsa.  You won't be sorry.

Chessmen Cookies Banana PuddingChessmen Cookies Banana Pudding - Go bananas and serve this top notch banana pudding.  Definitely one of our favorite ways to end a meal.

Starbucks RefreshersYou can pair the above recipes with these fun end of the summer refreshing beverages.  I suggest getting your day jump started with the Starbucks DoubleShot® Energy drink, then refreshing again later on a Starbucks Refreshers® with Coconut Water - Black Cherry Limeade while snacking on the Pimento Cheese and grilling the burger.  End with the White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino while feasting on your banana pudding.  Sounds like a lot, but it's a holiday so go for it! 🙂
