McDonald's now has a chicken sandwich that is very comparable to Chick-Fil-A! Since we do not have Chick-Fil-A anywhere near us, we were extremely anxious to try out this new Southern-Style Chicken Sandwich. We went through Wheaton's drive-thru yesterday after church, ordered our sandwiches, then noticed an unbelievable sign on the window that said:
"Tuesday, April 29th: Buy a sweet tea for $1 and get a Southern Style Chicken Sandwich FREE!"
The promotion runs all day Tuesday. You can get the breakfast biscuit, too, which is awesome for me since I wanted to try that next!
Oh...and our review of the sandwich? Not quite Chick-Fil-A, but definitely close! It's at least a substitute until we live by one someday.
So, go get your (almost) free sandwich tomorrow for breakfast, lunch or dinner! 🙂 I don't think you'll be disappointed.
UPDATE: Just found some websites that said McD's will be offering this May 15. Maybe the April 29 date is for Chicago area only since we are the test-market corporate area.

I got the breakfast sandwich this morning... yum! But, yeah, those of you who are not in the Chicago area, you will need to wait for this deal until May 15. But, something to look forward to, right? 🙂
