If you are anything like me, you love to learn more about the author behind the blog. Today, I'm giving you just that. (By the way, my bestie bought me that apron. I love it and love her for giving it to me!!)
Meet my family:
My husband, Ben, is the person I adore most in my life. He encourages me every day and is the biggest supporter of Pennies on a Platter. Plus, he is the best guinea pig ever! In other words, before we were married he probably could tighten that belt at least one more hole! 🙂
Judah, my precious son, is the joy of our lives. Since he is only 3 months old, I don't get to cook for him, yet. But, I am SO looking forward to it!

The best thing about my kitchen is how bright and cheery it is!

What a fun kitchen! My kitchen is large and right in the center of our home; open to everything, which is sometimes not so good considering all the dishes I go through from cooking so much! My kitchen is a little too "fancy" I like how cheery and simple your is; nice job! Great food photos too. I'm just getting into this whole food blogging thing and have found that photography goes hand in hand. Mine are a work in progress!

Enjoyed your pics! Judah looks just like his daddy! I really enjoy your recipes and admire you for all you the balls you keep in the air. Good luck with the transition into working mom! There are a lot of things I would change in my kitchen, but I rent also, so not much I can do about that. One thing I really love is the stainless steel prep table I got from Target. It has made such a big difference in my kitchen work. There's a wire shelf underneath that provides much needed storage space and plenty of room on top for chopping and mixing and all sorts of prep work. I love making bread or pie dough directly on the table!

I just found your blog, and I have to say that I'm incredibly jealous of your kitchen! My current kitchen is an improvement over what I had a couple years ago, and so far, it's working. I'm slowly remaking it, one appliance at a time!

You kitchen is very cheery! We renovated our kitchen last summer and it is SO MUCH better than it was. My fav part is actually my new sink and faucet. It's the one thing I obsessed about the least even. That and my spice rack. And of course my new appliances!

I have the same kitchen cabinets and hanging fruit and vegetable rack that you guys do 🙂 My favorite thing about my kitchen is that it opens onto 4 other rooms, so I can always be part of the action while I'm cooking. You have a beautiful home and family (and apron!!)

Thanks for sharing a peek into your kitchen... maybe I'm obsessed but I like to see that kitchens are kept clean, and I do like how much light you have in there! Great post idea... I love finding out more about the author. You have a beautiful family and I love your kitchen. I have definitely outgrown my current kitchen - I have to store extra pans and appliances in the spare room closet - but the best thing about it is the pantry closet, it has double doors so its very easy to find everything.

Well, my current kitchen is in my college apartment and therefore tiny. But I have tons of storage and I like that.
Back home, I love that I know where everything is 🙂 And that I have almost everything I need, equipment wise, to bake whatever I want - courtesy of mi madre :). I am slowly building my own kitchen, though, which makes me happy and excited!
