This healthy snack includes blankets of blueberry yogurt, sliced bananas and crispy cereal. Serve in a clear jar and your kids will have fun watching their spoons dig through the layers. Adults will love this recipe, too!
Sometimes we can get in a rut of serving our kids the same snacks every day, which results in them getting bored with eating healthy. I get it – it’s much easier to have a routine instead of trying to get creative and try something new.
But, some new ideas don’t take much work at all, yet changes things up just enough to make it exciting for your child. That’s how this new snack happened in our home. We had yogurt, bananas and crispy rice cereal on hand. It didn’t take long for me to slice the bananas and layer each ingredient into a small serving jar.
- Banana slices
- Blueberry Yogurt
- Crispy rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies)
In a small serving sized jar, layer banana slices and yogurt, then top with cereal. Repeat layers one time, ending with the cereal on top. Serve immediately.
