How to Use Homemade Taco Seasoning
Once you make this DIY taco seasoning, you'll have exactly the spice you need for your favorite Mexican dishes. You can use it in my favorite Slow Cooker Chicken Tacos recipe as well as in my big batch of Ground Beef Taco Meat. Flavor a taco salad with this taco seasoning or use for fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, etc.
TIP: 2 tablespoons of homemade taco seasoning is equivalent to 1 packet of store-bought taco seasoning. You will want to use about 2 tablespoons per 1 lb of meat. Add a little moisture like water or broth when cooking.
You can also use this taco seasoning to spice up some of those spicy cracker snacks. You know what I'm talking about? Those delicious firecracker saltines!
