2tablespoonshalf and half(or heavy cream, milk or water)
1tablespoonunsalted butter
Salt and pepper, to taste
3oz.package real bacon bits
½cupshredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite kind), more or less to taste
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F. Lightly grease a 15x10-inch rimmed baking sheet. Open the tube of dough and unroll onto the bottom of the baking sheet, pressing to reach ½-inch up the sides of the pan. Prick dough with a fork; brush with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Place in the oven and pre-bake crust for 8 minutes.
While the crust is pre-baking, prepare the eggs. In a small bowl, whisk the eggs with half and half. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the eggs and cook until scrambled; stirring frequently. Remove from heat; lightly season with salt and pepper.
Remove crust from oven and spoon eggs evenly over top, leaving a ½-inch edge of crust. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese. Bake 6 to 8 minutes, or until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
Transfer pizza to a cutting board. Slice and serve.
Notes
For a thinner crust, use a slightly larger baking pan.
You might not use all of the bacon bits. I typically usually just use half of the package.
Try other favorite breakfast toppings like cooked and crumbled sausage or diced ham.
If you do not have a 15x10-inch rimmed baking dish, you can use a pizza pan or other large baking dish.
