Starbucks Single OriginThis summer I had the opportunity to try Starbucks® Single Origin coffees as part of their blogger community program.  I’m thrilled to share my experience in that I loved the Guatemala Laguna de Ayarza K-Cup® Packs and the Rwanda Rift Valley K-Cup Packs.  The Guatemala one became one of my favorite choices for my morning cup of coffee in the last couple of months!  Read on for recipe ideas to pair with them!

These both were definitely more distinct in their flavors compared to the usual Starbucks blonde roasts I was drinking most mornings.  As I did with my earlier Starbucks post, I’d like to share a couple of recipe pairings for these two coffees.

Giant Double Chocolate Bakery CookiesThe Guatemala Laguna roast is rich and balanced with crisp citrus notes and a sweet, chocolaty aftertaste.  Pair this one with my Giant Double Chocolate Bakery Cookies for an afternoon treat!

Slow Cooker Lemon Poppyseed CakeThe Rwanda Rift Valley roast has spicy dark chocolate notes, hints of sweet citrus and heady floral aromas.  Pair this one with my Slow Cooker Lemon Poppy Seed Cake that can be served as a breakfast pastry.

As part of the Starbucks Coffee Blogger Community, I receive periodic samples of up and coming Starbucks products to review.  All opinions are my own.
