Friday Amazon Favorites

A monthly report of my favorite Amazon purchases.  Read to see what we enjoyed from Amazon this month!

Happy Friday, friends!  I'm trying something new today -- it will be an experiment.  I've been an avid Amazon shopper since the beginning days of Prime membership, and within the last year Amazon became my go-to shopping choice for almost everything!  Clothes, school backpacks, home goods, makeup, personal items, etc. etc.  The convenience of purchasing and returning is just so easy!

The other day, I realized my entire outfit, down to my shoes and up to my earrings, were from Amazon!  It gave me the idea that maybe I should start sharing my awesome finds with you.  It can be difficult to sift through the good and the bad from Amazon -- because I definitely have encountered BOTH -- so maybe showing you my tried and true purchases can help!

I'm also an Amazon affiliate (have been for years) so any qualifying purchase you make from my links will earn me a small commission.  But, your price is NO different than if you found the item yourself.  I promise!

I don't want to overload you, so each week I'll share just a few of my favorites -- and only those I actually used that specific month.  Please feel free to email me with any ideas of items you'd like to see reviewed!

**UPDATE 1/31/2020:  These posts take forever for me to write, so although I thought I'd do this weekly, I'm going to share monthly instead.  Look for updates on the first Friday of every month.  🙂

Are you ready?  Here we go!

Winter Jacket

I know we are all looking forward to spring by now, but I can't help but tell you about this winter coat!  It's still cold outside, in fact this week was the coldest we've had here in Mississippi so far this season.  So, I was wearing this alllll week -- until today.  It's warmer today.

Black is the color I wanted this season, but this winter coat is available in other colors and styles.  CLICK HERE to see the other colors and styles, all for around $50!

I'm wearing a size small.  The length is perfect, and it is just the right amount of warmth!  I love the faux fur on the hood.  It's not so over the top like some other jackets I tried.  Plus, the hood is detachable with a zipper if I wanted to change it up.  This winter coat is soft and super flattering.

Large Leather Tote

This large tote is my favorite purse.  At first, I thought it was going to be too big, but I bought this organizer for the inside and the functionality of this purse with the organizer is JUST PERFECT.  The leather is soft and pliable, and sits very well on my shoulder.  It doesn't slide off while I'm grocery shopping (that drives me crazy with my other purses!) and I can fit anything I need in it without it feeling too heavy.

large tan tote purse

I have the tan, but it is also available in deep red or black.  It reminds me of more expensive totes that I am not willing to shell out the extra cash for!  I've had this purse since Christmas, and I see it lasting a long time.  I use it every day.

Planner

My word for the year is "Simplify" and what a better way to simplify life than to be more organized.  I bought this planner after comparing a few others and really like it!  The wood grain cover is so pretty.  It's basic and not overwhelming like some of those journaling planners can be.  It's weekly/monthly so I can view my week or the month overall.

wood cover planner

This planner is sturdy and just the right size to not take up so much room on my desk and purse, but easy enough to fit what I want to write in. It's also not academic based, so no wasted areas of logging class schedules and homework.  Been there.  Done that.  Burned the t-shirt.  😉  CLICK HERE to see more cover options of this exact same planner.

By the way, the glasses you see in the photo of the planner are also a favorite Amazon find!  They are blue light blocking glasses that help alleviate fatigue when working at the computer.  Ben bought them for me for Christmas and I have felt a difference!

Kitchen Towels

Please do yourself a favor and go get these kitchen towels.  I know none of us update our kitchen towels nearly as often as we should!  I finally took the plunge a few weeks ago because I was tired of looking at all the stains.  After reading the reviews for these, I ordered them still with skepticism.  I'm picky when it comes to towels!

THESE TOWELS ARE AMAZING.  They are oversized, soft, and just WONDERFUL.  Exactly what I was looking for and hoping to find in kitchen towels.  Blue is my favorite color, but these towels are also offered in gray and red.  There are 8 towels in a pack for under $20.  I think that's a steal for their great quality.  And, I like them better than my old ones from Williams Sonoma where they are double the price!

The Mandalorian Vinyl Figure

Each week I'm going to add something my boys love from Amazon, too.  This might help you with gift ideas for kids, or in this case, it might be something you want for yourself!  (You hearing me Star Wars fans?)

madalorian vinyl figure

The boys received Amazon gift cards for Christmas from a relative, so Judah picked this Mandalorian vinyl figure as one of his gifts.  It doesn't arrive until February, so I can't speak on it's quality.  But, I'm sure it's the same quality of any other Pop! vinyl figure out there.  He's so excited.  I'll update when it arrives!

But, if you don't want to wait, I would go get yours pre-ordered now!  The quantities are in and out, so if it says "not available" keep trying!  We managed to snatch it when it was just $10, but I've seen the price fluctuate since then from $20 to $50!

That's it for my Amazon Favorites today!  I told you I would overload you.  🙂  Now, tell me if you get any of these items and what you think.  I'd also love to know your favorite Amazon finds in the comments!
