This Bacon Egg and Cheese Breakfast Bundt is perfect for Christmas morning because it's easy to prep and can be made ahead of time, allowing you to enjoy a relaxed morning. It bakes quickly and is ready to eat, so you can savor a warm, comforting breakfast while opening gifts.

Ingredients

This recipe uses simple, easy-to-find ingredients that come together to create a delicious breakfast. Here's what you need:

ingredients for breakfast bundt cake

  • 6 large eggs
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 teaspoon salt (more or less to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 16 oz refrigerated biscuits (8 ct., Pillsbury Grands Homestyle)

Savory Monkey Bread

This recipe is like a savory version of monkey bread because it uses pieces of dough layered with tasty fillings, creating a pull-apart breakfast dish that’s both fun and delicious. Just like traditional cinnamon sugar monkey bread, it bakes into a warm, shareable treat with a mix of flavors in every bite.

This breakfast bundt can also be sliced instead of pulled apart, making it a versatile dish that can be served in individual portions. Whether you prefer to enjoy it as a shareable pull-apart or neatly sliced, it’s perfect for any breakfast setting.

Making a breakfast bundt is simple and rewarding. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Preheat the oven and grease the bundt pan.
  2. Whisk the eggs, and add the bacon, butter, cheese, salt and pepper.mix ingredients into bowl
  3. Slice biscuits into 6 wedges and gently stir into the egg mixture.
    slice refrigerated biscuits into wedges
  4. Pour mixture into prepared bundt pan.
pour canned biscuit and egg mixture into bundt pan
  5. Bake 30 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool 5 minutes before inverting onto a serving platter.

If it's just my family, we like to pull the biscuits apart with our fingers, but for more formal gatherings, I usually provide a knife so everyone can slice their own piece.

Recipes Variations

This recipe is highly versatile and can be customized by swapping out ingredients. Prefer not to use bacon? Try brown breakfast sausage instead. You can also experiment with different cheeses or add extras like onions, ham, and peppers for added flavor.
